Pistachio Frost Recipe – A Bible-Inspired Drink

Pistachio Frost Recipe – A Bible-Inspired Drink

Creamy, nutty, and refreshingly cold, Pistachio Frost is a delicious drink made with raw pistachios, chilled almond milk, honey, and vanilla.

Inspired by ingredients mentioned in Scripture, this simple recipe brings a little biblical inspiration to your everyday table.

The Story Behind Pistachio Frost

In Genesis 43:11, Jacob sends pistachios among the choice gifts carried to Egypt. In Judges 14:8, Samson discovers bees and honey in the carcass of a lion. And in Numbers 17:8, Aaron's staff buds and produces almonds.

These biblical references inspire a creamy, refreshing drink that combines pistachios, almond milk, and honey.

Ingredients

Serves 1

Raw Pistachios: 1 cup, shelled

Almond Milk: 1½ cups, chilled and unsweetened

Raw Honey: 2 tablespoons

Vanilla Bean Paste: ½ teaspoon

Flaky Sea Salt: 1 pinch

Mineral Water Ice Cubes: 1 cup

How to Make Pistachio Frost

Combine the Pistachios and Almond Milk

Place the raw pistachios and chilled, unsweetened almond milk into a high-speed blender. Starting with cold almond milk helps keep the drink refreshing as it blends.

Add the Honey, Vanilla, and Salt

Add the raw honey, vanilla bean paste, and a pinch of flaky sea salt. The salt balances the honey's sweetness, while the vanilla complements the pistachios' naturally nutty flavor.

Blend Until Creamy and Frosty

Blend on high for 60 seconds, until the pistachios are completely pulverized and the mixture becomes silky and aerated.

Add the mineral-water ice cubes and pulse for 30 seconds, until frosty.

Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.
